The set of instruction given to the computer or the devices uses in feeding  the computer are called Input Devices example mouse and keyboard. On the other hand the process by which the computer give the output or result are called Output devices such as the Monitor, Speaker, Printer etc. Last but not the least the process by which the computer processes its raw data into information is call the IPO cycle (input-process-output)which is an example of the Central Processing Unit (C.P.U).

     In brief, a set of instructions given to a computer is called Program and a set of programs is called Software. Software is divided into three types namely Operating Software, Compiler software and Application software.
